    The Wage and Hour Division in Houston, TX is conducting in-person compliance assistance workshops focused on raising awareness about compliance with federal labor laws. This initiative by the Wage and Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor is part of a larger effort to connect employers with the information they need to better understand their responsibilities and obligations under the law.

    This employer compliance assistance presentation will provide an overview of the FMLA including employer coverage; employee eligibility; qualifying reasons for leave; amount of leave; employer and employee rights and responsibilities; and military family leave provisions.

    This training is recommended for business owners, human resources and payroll personnel, managers, supervisors, and anyone seeking to learn more about their responsibilities and obligations under the law.

    Event is from 10:00am - Noon.  Lunch will be provided.
